Sweetie, you are exactly like me. The other week I decided to go brown, and not only it look horrible, but I also went ginger in the process! Stick to been blonde, most of the time people with pale skin look silly with very dark hair.

If you do dye it black, you wont get your natural colour back really, or its very hard to do. I've spent loads of my hair since it went ginger, trying to get it back near my natural colour!

If you're wanting a change why not put some darker blonde lowlights through your hair? Just to lower the colour a little bit! And try experimenting with makeup, you'll be surprised at the advantage that pasty blonde like us can do!

I don't think that'd look good. It'd put emphasis on the lightness of your skin and would make you look albino.

If you dye your hair black it will make your skin look paler which will make you look ill maybe you should dye it a dark blonde. i am very pale with blue eyes too. i have dark blonde hair. it looks ok. i would hate to have black hair

my look is similar and first off it was a shock to have them black all of a sudden, but i got used to it an actually liked it a lot - i've worn it for years - but it is a bit of a hassle to go back to natural blonde....

You are too pale for black hair you would look like Morticia Adams or death warmed up a light brown may be ok tho.

but my suggestion is that you try to get a picture of yours, then try to put some plastic cover (the one you wrap your notebooks with, or any clear plastic) on top of it, then try to draw a black hair, so you can see if you will look good on a black hair.

better yet, try to look for a software or program that can do this, i think cosmopolitan has this virtual makeover program.

I bet you look lovely as you are! Im naturally dark haired and I spend my money and time making my hair blonde and my skin tanned! We are neve happy with what we have it seems!! One of my close friends is really pale skinned with very dark hair and she looks great. (She has her eyelashes and brows tinted at the same time as her hair is coloured). I think withou the tinted brows and lashes she might look too pale for the hair colour?

Feeling a bit washed out, are you? Darkening your hair to black would give you a deathly, gothic look if that is what you are aiming for, and it certainly would look dramatic. Personally, imagining your pretty facce in my mind...I'm not so sure how attractive it would be. But, before you go permanently coloring your, try a temporary rinse -- one like Loving Care, or a Henna Rinse, that comes out in a few shampoos -- just to see how you like it and how everyone reacts without having made a major commitment (going back to your natural hair will be hard!!!!). What would probably look quite stunning on you is an off-black with vibrant maroon overtones. The maroon should make your blue eyes look more intense and your skin even more like porcelain. And just one final thought...roots. While it looks awful when the dark roots of someone who has dramatically lightened their hair start to show, it looks ghastly when light roots show through on someone who has dramatically darkened their hair. Ooops..another final thought...if you do decide to darken your hair, your pale eyelashes and eyebrows are going to look very, very wierd, which will just make your hair look like you have a wig on. While you can tint your eyebrows, eyelashes need to be tinted profesionally -- there are no home tinting kits.

It is kind of difficult to say as it is not only down to skin and eye colour but also face features.. and life style..

The best is to go shoppin' for the colours you like but in a 1 wash form..so if you are not quite sure.. wash and try other one in a couple of days..
