with permanent hair colour. My younger sister wants to dye her hair and she has a prominent white forelock. My late grandfather also had a prominent white forelock. My mother would be upset if my sister dyed over her forelock because she inherited it from my grandfather.
If you have a white forelock, will it go away when you dye your hair?
The white will only be temporarily eliminated. Maybe you could suggest to your sister to use a temporary hair color to make sure she is happy with the color.

yes

she can always do it herself and avoid getting any colour on the lock itself. she can try and gather it together and drench it in lotion (itll help to keep some of the dye off just in case)

I have one; dye may cover it, but it will be the first thing to pop back out. You'd be best, most likely, to have that section of your hair bleached, to look as if you had it all, to enhance the rest of your hair.

THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION IS YES AND NO!1 yes when u dye your hair the forelock color will disappear but the dye has to be continually reused to keep it that color .. .. IN all honesty each person has the right , when they are mature enough, to keep or change their natural color of hair.
I do believe natural means would be better becuause you really dont want strong chemicals on your scalp in todays world.. I simply mean that today with polution and many diseases and viruses out their today you dont need another toxin added .. mj
