I read a yahoo answer to aquestion and a white guy said.."how's your hair? to the person who asked the question because she feels that she doesn't get noticed by guys at her school, especially white guys..Is that really true..because I just wanna cry now after reading such statement..why?? why?? Today was such a bad day for me..sometimes, I cry and get somewhat depressed because these really hot white guys or even latin guys will never like me because i'm dark-skinned and my hair isn't perfecly straight and silky, or blonde..green-eyed, blue-eyed..light skinned.. Im smart, really nice, kind, respectful, tranquil, and love to laugh and talented in the visual arts...I feel like I get more attention from older or way older guys than guys my own age..especially at my school, which is predominantly white and latin...Sometimes I just wis i would die...because racism and prejudice and..sigh

I don't think that can be true. I mean there are a probably some men that feel that way but it's just a preference like anything else (I'm talking about the hair thing). It's the same as preferring taller or shorter, shy or outgoing, etc. I have never actually heard anyone make a comment like that. Don't stress! Unless you're personally experiencing racism (or someone close to you) try not to think about it too much or else you'll be upset all the time. I'm Latin so I've been there too. Trust me.

well don't feel bad. my hair is really silky and long but no one i like has ever asked me out! i've been asked out plenty of times but not by the guys that i like. i'm not very dark either. everyone says that i'm too shy and thats why. cuz i can talk to guys that i DON'T like.

My best friend is black and she's married to a white guy. A very nice-looking white guy! Don't worry. It's tough when you're around people who are racist, or who for some reason don't like you for something you can't control - you need to find a different set of people to hang around. Hang out with older guys AND girls - be friends first and worry about dating LATER. Maybe one of those older guys or gals has a younger brother!

if youre descriminting against guys for thier looks, how can you be upset if people do the same to you, the fact is, that all girls deal with the same ****, its not like the atractive girls are always happy because they get better guys, they still have to deal with not being goodlooking enough, all the same problems you have, if you were blonde and blue eyed nothing would change

I actually have the same problem with you, I am Asian. People say I am pretty. No guys have asked me out. I live in a super rich area, with a rich school. 97% whites are in the school. Every girl is gorgeous, blond, blue eyed, and not a single person is slightly overweight. I feel horrible. But there is people in the world whose having worse situations than you. Be glad, everything will be fine. Don't feel bad, all the guys are the same, really stupid! Just keep telling yourself my "Mr. right" just haven't arrived yet. Live your life happily, and enjoy it.
