Not all white women can dye their hair blonde and look naturally blonde. I'm pale as anything and if I dyed my hair any lighter than dark brown I'd look ridiculous!

I would have to agree with most of the answers about it not ever being blonde born that it is not ever seen as natural, but if you are talking about doing a home dye and it going more of an orange/red coulour then it is becouse most dark colours carry these colours and throw off the wrong outcome. if you visit a good hair dresser they will be able to mix the right coulours to obtain a more natural look, this usually takes a few processes of lightening your natural colour first before going to the blonde. Well I don't know how long ago you dyed your hair, but if it was pretty recently this should work. Take some rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad and gently wipe off the color. While it may not take off EVERY last speck of color, it will get rid of the over all color left over. Hope this helps! Good luck!

No, not precisely. It does remove the dye which was previously applied, and goes back to whitish, but does not give you the original lustre, color, or fiber. You would then have to apply color again.

I would go to a professional to alter your color. They know how to finagle to mixtures of colors, chemicals, and your own scalp. Trust me, blisters from red roots is just not cool.

nope....its depending on what color you used.....if the color you used has an ash base...it will go a moldy green....if it was red it will be pink....thats if your hair doesnnt break off.....white hair is very very porous....so it sucked up whatever color you put on it.

Alright, I used to put up my mohawk like this so here's experience talking-

Dry-otherwise it will turn white.

Tips-have a friend help you with the hairdryer, lay on your side on a bed and have him/her blowdry for at least 10 min. from both sides while you hold it trying to keep it as positioned as possible.

When your ready to wash-make sure you have a really good shampoo and be prepared to scrub under hot water for a LONG while-it will get sticky and gross before it gets better.

I use it after I have towel dried my hair. It dries clear. Remember what you learned in kindergarten - a little dab'll do ya. It helps to hold your head upside down and smooth into shape until it dries.

Personally I prefer knox unflavored gelatin to get my hair up there. It's a little easier to get out. Make it a little thicker than usual and apply while it's luke- warm (but not hot). Again, hold your head upside down and smooth into shape until it dries.

HEAVY FOIL....it will look like an all over and yes, a blue or violet BASED toner will work. BE CAREFUL....a toner like that may "grab" on your already light, damaged areas and you will have to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the base color and just get to the actual "tone" of the color. Def. go to a salon. Find a stylist that has a good reputation for blonde. This is something you can't do "on the cheap."

hair follicles are part of your skin the grow hair by compacting dead cells together to create length in your hair. The outside of the hair follicle is covered in cuticle, exactly like the base of your fingernail. Cuticle is clear, techinically. So if your hair follicle is covered in a thin layer of cuticle you will probably see the strand of hair forming below, which would make the follicle appear to be x color (to match your hair). However, as many girls know, cuticle tends to build up around your nail base. Well, cuticle also usually builds up around your hair follicle making it appear to be white.

I would say that the hair follicle cannot work without being attatched to your skin. So I would imagine it would die rather quickly upone removal from your scalp. Because the follicle is dependant on dead cells from your body to produce hair growth and without those available cells it can't work.

I know, it itches so bad. Try taking a shower, and putting conditioner on your braids and on your scalp, then rinse it off. Once you get out of the shower try rubbing either vasiline on your scalp or a natural moisturizer/lotion, I like Aveeno.

to relieve the itch, get a bobby pin and keep it in a place in your braids. You can scratch all you want without making the braids frizzy. Whatever you do, do not wash them, they will get extremely frizzy!!!! Also get a good hair oil or spray that relieves itching. or if all else fails pat the itch away!!! LOL

I used to backcomb my hair into a Robert Smith style...

Here is what you do:

When you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair and blowdry it until it is only a little bit damp. Put a small amount of good hair gel or mousse in it and just spread it throughout your hair

Flip your head upside-down and hairspray your hair like crazy and blowdry it... brush your hair down towards your face when you do this, just hairspray it upside-down. Make sure your hair is completely dry.

Flip your head back up... you should now have a giant mass of hair sticking out everywhere... but it isn't backcombed and it will flatten out quickly. Now is the part where you back-comb.

Use a strong comb with wider-spaced teeth to start... when you get most of the hair backcombed, use a comb with finer-spaced teeth to make it tighter and more long-lasting.

As for the backcombing process... don't be afraid to really be harsh on your hair. Grab big chunks at first and just rip into it with the comb pushing it towards your head, hold the hair tight, you should actually be pulling it away from your head while you comb it towards your head. When most of it is backcombed, go for smaller sections to make it tighter and more backcombed at the ends of the hair. Use as much hairspray as you see necessary thoroughout this process.

When the backcombing is done, spray nicely with hairspray, but don't saturate your hair with it, it should be nicely misted but not wet. Use the hairdryer again to lock it in. BE SURE to turn your head upside down or the hairdryer will flatten it out. Use good amounts of hairspray while blowdrying. Don't brush or comb your hair while blowdrying, you can use your hands to move the hair around so the blowdryer can get down deeper into all the backcombing. Just don't comb it out with your hands.

After that is done. Just backcomb out any stubborn peices of hair, use a little hairspray if needed. You should have something pretty close to what you want.

If your talking about extensions, im recommend that you dont. Glueing or sewing anything into your hair is not good for your real hair's health and growth. I had extensions, you have to superglue them onto your scalp. They look cute for awhile but they start to fall out within 2-3 weeks. They are very painful to take out and you most likely will lose some of your real hair. I think you should just let your hair grow out the natural way, even if it takes awhile.

I had a weave put in once....NEVER AGAIN. I had mine sewn into my hair, and it lasted about 3 days before I had to cut it out. The problem I had was it didn't look as silky as my own hair after washing, and shampoo would get stuck in the braids and making my head itch and itch. If you are thinking about longer hair, go for extensions, I would recommend getting clip in ones. ( they do not damage your hair) Bohyme Remi is 100% human hair and is of the highest quality you can get.

Anyway...

I wouldn't recommend getting the indvidually glued in strands because when they grow out...you can see the glue areas and since you already have healthy hair, the glue could damage your hair and break it off. I wouldn't recommend the glue-in weaves, like some girl mentioned, either. You go to an ethnic salon, ask for a few rows for length, and they sew them in. Getting your hair braided in a FEW spots isn't going to ruin your hair. People who get their hair braided ALL THE TIME eventually have brittle hair and bald spots...trying it once won't do that.

When I got my partial weave taken out, the hair was so healthy...it hadn't been exposed to products...and it was longer without me noticing that it was even short to begin with. I made the mistake of chopping off my hair once and that's why I got a weave.

If you pour in your shampoo, yeah it's gonna itch...but your hair would itch even withOUT a weave if you left shampoo in your hair. So that's irrelevant. Make sure to get some oil products because fake hair won't have natural oils because, hey, it's not attached to your head.

There is a cardinal rule, and that's frequency of washing your hair. I washed my hair every few days and that still caused some problems because there's no natural oils in your hair to keep your hair from knotting up. So, when the fake hair gets wet, it can get into a knot. The more you get your hair wet, the more it'll tend to knot up, post shower.

Also, watch how you brush. If you brush too hard over the cornrows, you risk pulling the thread that holds the weave in place and then it'll become loose.

Don't listen to these other white girls who had a bad experience...and it doesn't damage your hair. Getting your hair colored or highlighted is FAR worse than a few braids every once in a while.

And the glory of partial weaves is that your hair is mainly what shows, because partial weaves are usually to lengthen so it's on the back side of your head. The other good thing about weaves compared to glue on extensions is that you can go in every three weeks to tighten up the thread and they'll be like new. Definately ask the person who is going to be doing it what hair they recommend. European hair is usually a lot smoother, silkier, but it's a little more money.

I have thick curly hair too. I like to use organic Olive Oil products. You can also try Garnier Frutise Sleek and shine or get a light relaxer for children, depending on how course you hair is. There is a lady by the name of Macherie Moore on youtube, she has very helpful tips. The best thing I suggest is to try lots of different products to find which is best for you. By the way, the reason why it flys away is because your hair isn't moisturized enough. Try different types of moisturizers too. I hope this helps. Good luck.

half my family has that problem. Since we're Jewish, we call it the Jew-fro (think Kyle from South Park- red, frizzy, and puffy).

The easiest way to make your hair manageable is to have it straightened at a salon. They can get it really straight and soft, and you don't have to mess with it for a while. The downside is that chemical straightening can be damaging and expensive, you'll need to retouch it every 4-6 weeks, and it's difficult if you decide you feel like wearing your hair curly.

If you decide to straighten it at home, start with a good moisturizing shampoo made for curly hair, then use a leave in-conditioner and straightening balm or lotion (they are slightly heavier than mousse). Towel dry your hair, but be very gentle- don't pull or tug, because it'll get tangled.

Then blow-dry it using a very large brush to get it somewhat straight and manageable. Take smaller sections of hair, and pull them gently with the brush while you're drying it

Finally, straighten it using a straightening iron (thicker is better for your hair). finish with shine spray

My recommendation is to stop using shampoo, but instead, cleanse with conditioner. Everything on your head is sterile until you let it grow bacteria. Gently massage all parts of your scalp with a good conditioner. Then, put a good amount on your hair and comb through it with your fingers. Don't panic if lots of hairs come out, it is normal to loose up to 100 hairs a day. The one thing to look for in conditioner is Pantheonal. I recommend using Proclaim with Olive Oil conditioners. If you stop the shampooing habit, you will notice in 2-3 weeks, that your hair looks a million times better and less frizzy. Another tip to less frizz is to try to towel try all the water you can out of your hair after your take a shower.

Then, if you want to wear your hair curly, get a clear styling gel. Flip your head over, and scrunch your hair while it is still damp. Then, scrunch each section of your hair while your head is the right way up. Then, with a very light hand, put a little bit of gel on the firzzy parts.

Seriously, the shampoo thing does work. I was very skeptic when I first tried it, but now that i do, I love it.

You might also want to start using less shampoo and just start co-washing twice a week with a once a week deep conditon. Aubrey organics makes a really good anti-frizz conditioner and cheap conditioners like suave and Vo5 are good co-wash conditioners. You could also dabble into black hair care.

whatever you do, do NOT get a chemical straightner because a) you'll miss your curls b) you ever decided you want to wear your natural curls you have to grow off the relaxer and that means cutting off your hair and starting over c) if you do not know how to properly take care of a relaxer your hair can get severly damaged. The chemical process alone will dry your hair out its up to you to constantly replenish the moisture.

The reason why he has that is because of the pigmentation of his hair. It's all in the genetics. Red heads are common in his family, although he, just like you, has pitch black hair.

I use revlon color silk for my hair. I have brown hair and I use medium golden brown and everybody loves it. It covers up the gray beautifully. I started having gray hair when I was 15 years old just like my mother, and I'm 35 years old with 2 kids and people say that I don't look my age. Anyway, just go with any color that you want. But I would try this and see if you like it.

Sorry but it's in your genes, meaning if your parents hair started getting white early so will yours. It's not uncommon for young people to have white/grey hairs. I noticed two years ago that i started getting grey hairs in my head and i was 18. When there are fewer pigment cells in your hair follicles, that strands of hair will no longer contain as much melanin and will become a more transparent color, in your case white. There's nothing you can do other than dye it. Most people think stress causes white hair but there's no real scientific evidence and if you don't believe me look it up. I really hope this helps you.

Well, you can't really dye your nose hair, but many salons offer nose waxing...it sounds painful, but they use a different type of wax, and it really doesn't hurt at all...If you were to trim them, they would grow back faster...waxing keeps those unsightly grey's out of sight for a few weeks! (I worked in a salon, and many people have this done...it is not uncommon at all!!)

ive had extensions twice. the first time they weaved the hair with braids on the scalp and the hair pieces were sowed in. the second was with the glue gun.

the first way itches the crap out of ur scalp and u tend to have alot of brakage around ur scalp from scratching and it has to be redone every 6 weeks, the second is messy and leaves tiny blobs of glue in ur hair that cant been seen from a distance but ur aware of them and they make u paranoid.

i found the best way to get my hair long was no hair dies, regular treatments at the salon and regular trims.

The salon kind are really expensive and potentially damaging to your hair. I used the clip in kind after a bad chemical processing to cover the damage while it grew out. They can be a pain to clip in and hurt if you wear them all day, but they didn't damage my hair and would be a fun way to change up your look for a night.

Quick Blue bleach works well.

if your hair is anything close to dark, use a 40 developer

watch your hair carefully as it changes color.. when you hit your desired color rinse out. (somewhere around 15-30 min) make sure you watch it carefully.. if it feels mushy or really hot you need to wash it out right away. otherwise you can overprocess your hair and it will be a fried mess.

TONE - if you have any red in your hair. sometimes they have little dropper packs for 99 cents at the beauty supply called RED OUT.

if its still a little red, use shimmer lights shampoo.

Whatever u dye it do your eyebrows with a eyeliner, pencil that is water proof. Remember do u have the warerobe for these hair colors. If you are no satisified with the color strikes might be nice. Alright, to 'restore' the bad cells, you need to increase your protein intake. Take more fish, and white-meat. Sesame seeds had some properties to aid this problem (black sesame esp )

I'm afraid it's genetic. Some people just go white sooner than others. If it suits you leave it, if you don't like it dye it.

I know a couple of people, one guy, one girl, who went grey in their twenties and they both dye their hair. There is no stigma attached these days, which ever you choose, and dying your hair is surprisingly easy.

You can try all the lotions and potions you want but they won't work despite what people may say. Have the same thing as you went white at 25. Was mainly down to stress. Sort out what you need to in your life, worry about the stuff you can fix and forget the rest. Go for a short crop hair cut and no one will know. Hope this helps

hey, I've got greys and as I'm a woman believe me they look much worse. Whatever you do don't dye it yet, as i found when i dyed my hair to cover the grey's it made the situation worse, i had more than before!

I haven't got any advice on what really works, but, try rubbing oil into your hair 2-3 times a week. There's an Asian brand called 'dabur amla hair oil' good if you have dark hair.

My early grey's run in the family, my brother has grey hair and it looks good on him (suit men ). My advice will be to try rubbing oil into your scalp (olive oil, wheatgerm oil, dabur amla) if within 3-6 months, you don't notice a difference try dying it (use dye as last resort)

Well, my cousin had the same problem... but he started having grey hair at the age of 4... He just accepted it as a part of who he is... Well, there lots of ways, um,, like previously mentioned, a perm, rollers, and all tht jazz. If your hair is quite long, or mid-length, then I'll tell you that Wella, Curl, Defining Wax-Wildest Curls works really well. I don't actually follow the instructions though, lol, when you've washed your hair, just squeeze as much as you think will cover your hair into you hand, put your head upside down, and scrunch the wax into you hair and hold it there for at least 10 seconds at a time. Do it with both hands, it will look like your going mad and drastically yanking your hair out but by doing this, and then sleeping in it, when you wake up, hopefully you will have gorgeous, natural looking curls. I would NOT suggest this though if you have super short layers because it won't curl those bits and just make them luk abit sticky outy because it hasn't enough length to curl! Aussie Sprunch, Fructis curl spray gel are good curl enhancers. Wash your hair and scrunch it up with your hands, you can get like 4 hair clips (the kind that hold a lot of hair) and put 4 sections of it up after you have scrunched it, let it dry like half way then take it down and dry it with a diffuser upside down so it will be full from the roots, you can also use a volumizer spray at the rights prior to drying it. Hot rollers, curlers also work.

wash your hair and then use a hair dryer to dry it, with your head down, meaning hair hanging down, start blow drying near the roots of your hair and then slowly dry towards the end. this will give your hair volume.

Prematurely gray/white hair does not run in my family on either side. I have been under a ton of stress lately and noticed about 8 or so white hairs growing - I plucked them out. It could be from the amount of stress you are under. I am under a large amount of stress and half of my hair is gray, but gray hair early does run in my family. By the time my grandfather was 20, his hair was completely gray.

It's the stress. I got my first gray hair at 21. Fortunately, they stayed away for the most part until now...I'm 41. So relax. One guy in my class back then was bald at 21. I was quite satisfied with my ONE gray hair...which I promply yanked out and put in my wallet!

I have an aunt whose hair turned gray prematurely and she is the only one in my family who has ever had this happen. Even though you are healthy it is just changing. Ask your doctor about a vitamin you could take. I think a type of vitamin B might help to slow it down. Good luck!
