My hair ithes so bad, and all I can do is pat it, but it seems like it is never ending, I have had braids now for only 4 days.

try hair grease, like sulfur 8 on the scalp. it stinks, but the burn feels good . it relieves the itch.

umm do nor wet your hair like the first person said is going to look "tow up"

I know, it itches so bad. Try taking a shower, and putting conditioner on your braids and on your scalp, then rinse it off. Once you get out of the shower try rubbing either vasiline on your scalp or a natural moisturizer/lotion, I like Aveeno.

it may itch because your scalp is dry. try putting a moisturizing hair oil on the parts.Or they may also itch if this is the first time having your hair done this way, since the hair shaft may not be used to being pulled.

i no this might saound weird but pain takes itches away so for you to scratch it you have to hit urself

grab a thin book and just start to hit ur head lightly enough to stop the itching

to relieve the itch, get a bobby pin and keep it in a place in your braids. You can scratch all you want without making the braids frizzy. Whatever you do, do not wash them, they will get extremely frizzy!!!! Also get a good hair oil or spray that relieves itching. or if all else fails pat the itch away!!! LOL
