I use L'Oreal Aurelle in black on my dad's thinning short hair and I use Nice N'Easy Gray Solution in Auburn on my mom's med. length, thick hair.

They both grow in grey - white hair and if you know anything about dyeing white hair is that it's tricky as hell. It's not like dyeing over regular hair, 'cuz white hair is pigment-less and absorbs color less easier for some reason.

BTW, I apply it on with a hair dye brush (like 99 cents at any beauty supply store) and always begin at the sideburns and work my way around the hairline to the other sideburn. Then soak the roots all around the head second, and work the crown of the neck last. If there's any solution left just distribute it atop the rest of the hair evenly.
