how do i make my hair look shiny?

Products can only do so much, on the surface of your hair, which wash out and can leave nasty buildup on your hair. Sure, olive oil is great to do, along with egg YOLKS, that is where all of the fats and goodness lie, not the whites. But essentially, the best thing that you can do for your hair, is to look after yourself from the inside. Trust me on this, as somebody who has been searching and striving for miracle products to give shine and health to hair for many years. Ensure you are eating plenty of fruit, veges, meat and fish, milk and PLENTY of water. You will soon see shiny, glowing hair, and your skin will look fabulous as well. And in the mean time, Redken glass serum is fantastic shiner, used sparingly.

No...I've tried the egg white, mayo and vinegar (not all at the same time), but I ended up smelling like a plate of french fries...it was gross.

If you want your hair to look shiny, hair serum. I highly recommend fructis sleek and shine hair serum http://fructis.garnier.ca/en/product_fh.... . It's grapeseed oil and some other junk. You don't need a lot, like just a couple drops into your hand. Apply it to the ends and middle of your hair avoiding your roots. You're best to start by adding a little bit, and if you want more, then add more. It's very difficult to remove this stuff if you over do it and you'll end up needing to shampoo again...

Fructis sleek and shine is grapeseed oil...so, another alternative would be olive oil. With the olive oil, just use a couple drops...it's a bit thicker than the grapeseed oil, so you'll need a little less. Just put a couple drops in your hand, rub your hands together and then run them through your hair. (You would use olive oil, like the kind you cook with...your mom should have some in the kitchen...I'm not a fan of canola oil, so refrain from that).

I am pretty sure applying an eggwhite to your hair once a month, will make sure your hair looks lovely andd shiny, but I apply a mashed avacado to my hair once a month, and it leaves it feel and look healthy, shiny and baby soft!

I hope this helps!

I like to use the whole egg. Why throw out the yolk when it contains all the nurtients? It really does make hair look shiny, full of body, and lovely.
