I would say that it depends on your build and how dark the hair is, and how it grows. Some guys look better after shaving, and others don't.

Are you practicing for the 800meter olympic backstroke? Why would you shave it all off. Thats kinda creepy. Maybe a trim if you are concerned about your big foot appearance on the beach. Oh yeah, but DO get rid of the back hair, that is sooooo gross! Big turn off.

Shave away! I shave my legs because im a runner. I think my leggs look better now, it also feels cleaner. all the girls i hang out with like it too. they say ther prefer it over hairy.

Yes.. it looks better. Women don't like really hairy men. I am a stylist, and you wouldn't believe how many straight men are now getting waxed! Trimming is when you don't cut it all off, but shorten the length. You need a trimmer or a clipper with guards. I would use the 1/2 inch clip (leaves hair 1/2 inch long), and go to town!!!! It really is not uncommon at all, and looks a lot neater without waxing and losing all "manlyness.... hehe!) Good luck, and I hope this helps

Definately use one of those clippers with a gaurd. Its ok for it to be longer, but if it is so long it tangly or really curly it might a trim.

I would say you would need to brush through it before you the clippers so that the tangles don't get ripped out.

I had to use the clippers on my dads back onetime it worked.
