My 70old wife claims her hair is white just like everybody in that age frame.?

I didn't think so for the longest of time. I thought it was naturally silver! I think she should resort to dyeing since she does looks great in silver. She agrees about dyeing, but only if she can have it closer to the naturally dirty blonde she once had a short time in her 50's. Any suggestions?

There are "permanent" and "semi-permanent" hair colors. The permanent colors must grow out. The semi-permanent will wash out.

White or silver is going to be more consistent with her age. But, people don't dye their hair to be consistent with their age! So, my advice is that she should do what she feels more comfortable with. Sounds like she wants to be a dirty blonde! If so, my notion is to pick a color that is more toward the dark side rather than the light side. That will look more natural.

She should do what ever she wants, sometimes people like to go back in time, maybe her happier younger days with you. Go along with it, if it does't suit her, she will know it and change it back..Everyone loves change, I know I do..
