LETS BE CLEAR PEOPLE!!! Dreadlocs are NOT made with honey, sh*t, or ANY OTHER type of goo!! those are all stereotypes. I HAVE LOCS, so listen up!!

dreads are formed when the hair is parted and fashioned in a way that allows it to basically mat together... ANY hair texture can be dreadlocked. the problem is that FINE hair (no matter what your ethnicity is) is very difficult to start locs with.

and there is NO SUCH THING as "dread rot" ! WTF are you trying to say??

They use Honey. Its a certain kind of honey but you can just use regular honey to try and see how it will look before you start actually getting it done.
